AFA’s Exhibit Poster

The Poster was prepared by the Austin Bergstrom International Airport staff for the AFA Exhibit at ABIA.

Our exhibit at the ABIA looks as wonderful as this poster, featuring AFA member Mary Ann Vaca-Lambert’s piece (Diane Sandlin, President, doing the Vanna White honors).  Gorgeous!  The exhibit can be viewed by ticketed travelers through November 3, 2009.

Women Printmakers of Austin

AFA hosted the Women Printmakers of Austin (WPA) at its August meeting.  Over ten WPA members shared their work and explained the printmaking processes they used.  The processes included woodblock printing, intaglio printing (which includes four different etching subprocesses), and lithography.  The owners of StoneMetal Press also discussed that they have etching, litho, and letter …
