Are subscription costs spiraling out of control? Fetch Access might be the game-changer families have been waiting for.
As streaming prices soar and entertainment choices become increasingly fragmented, Fetch TV has introduced a new plan designed to bring simplicity and affordability back to Australian living rooms. Priced at just $3.99 a month, the new Fetch Access subscription redefines the company’s retail approach, giving households a budget-friendly way to enjoy premium viewing without piling on more financial pressure.
But here’s where it gets interesting: this shift comes at a time when Australians are feeling subscription fatigue more than ever. New insights from the Deloitte Media & Entertainment Consumer Insights 2025 report reveal that 78% of Australians are now worried about their increasing streaming expenses. On average, households maintain around four subscriptions, totaling about $78 monthly — a sharp 25% rise from last year. Even more telling, 36% admit they’re spending beyond their intended budgets, and nearly 8 in 10 wish they could search and watch content from all services in one place.
Redefining Affordable Home Entertainment
Fetch says its updated model is designed to streamline entertainment access and save families money without cutting corners on choice. A company spokesperson explained, “We’re democratising premium entertainment, allowing everyone to enjoy big-screen experiences without big price tags.”
The brand argues that this new plan targets what they call ‘fragmentation fatigue’ — the overwhelming feeling consumers face as they juggle multiple streaming apps and costs. Their research confirms that while households love great content, they crave an easier, cheaper, and more unified way to access it.
At a cost equivalent to less than one takeaway coffee each month, Fetch Access provides flexibility: users can unlock optional content bundles starting from $7.99 or opt for the full ‘Ultimate’ experience — 40+ premium TV channels and on-demand features — for $24.99. According to Fetch, that makes it one of the best-value entertainment offerings currently on the Australian market.
What’s Included in Fetch Access

Optional Add-Ons and Bundles
Fetch also offers several ways to expand the Access plan without any long-term contracts.
Fetch Premium Access – $11.98/month
Includes Fetch Access plus one of the following Premium Packs and a monthly movie rental credit.
- Vibe Pack: Reality, lifestyle, music, and general entertainment.
- Knowledge Pack: For fans of documentaries, history, and science.
- Variety Pack: A mix of entertainment, comedy, and niche channels.
- Kids Pack: Age-appropriate entertainment for younger viewers.
Fetch claims customers save nearly $8 monthly compared to buying any pack individually.
Fetch Ultimate Access – $28.98/month
For households wanting everything at once, the Ultimate Pack bundles over 100 channels covering entertainment, kids’ shows, factual programs, and lifestyle content. It includes networks like ESPN, Discovery, BBC Earth, BBC Drama, UKTV, and Cartoon Network — all with full on-demand functionality and a monthly movie rental credit.
The company says Ultimate Access is priced at roughly 50% less than traditional pay TV services, offering similar value to $78 worth of comparable content for around $15 less per month. New customers also get their first month of the Ultimate Pack free.
Promotions and Availability
The Fetch Access plan became available nationwide on December 1, 2025. As part of its introductory offer, Fetch is waiving the $3.99 monthly fee through January 31, 2026. New subscribers receive a free $7.99 movie rental credit for their first month, and those who join before December 31 will also get five additional credits — potentially saving families up to $600 over the holiday season.
Supported on all Fetch Mini and Mighty devices, Fetch Access is available through major Australian retailers such as JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, and the official Fetch online store.
So, could this be the beginning of a new era in affordable home entertainment? Or is Fetch simply reshuffling existing offerings in a market already swamped with discount plans and bundles?
