This insight comes from Booking.com's 'Travel Predictions 2026' survey, a comprehensive global study that polled nearly 30,000 adults across 33 countries, including 1,004 from Hong Kong.
And the results? Absolutely fascinating! A whopping 89% of Hong Kong respondents expressed interest in 'romantasy' travel. That's nearly nine out of ten people dreaming of escaping into these enchanting worlds!
But that's not all. The survey also revealed that over 76% of Hong Kongers are open to role-play retreats based on their favorite games, books, or films. This is significantly higher than the global average of 53%.
