October at Mueller HEB- Joyce Hazlerig, Needlefelting

October’s speaker will be Joyce Hazlerig. Joyce started Needle Felting in 2008 and in 2010 she won Living Felt’s Alice in Wonderland contest with her psychedelic Cheshire cat, who glows under black light! She teaches needle felting and fiber art workshops across the country. Most recently she has become a Sarafina Certified Instructor and her original winged dragon tutorial, “Here There Be Dragons” is featured on https://feltingtutorials.com/ a platform sponsored by Living Felt. Joyce is known for her fantasy woodland style, her creations come alive with their own whimsical magic. See her tutorial on felting dragons.
Joyce demos at various Renaissance Festivals and shows her creations at indie crafts throughout Texas. She was recently teaching and vending at DFW Fiber Festival in September. Upcoming events include the Texas Fleece and Fiber Festival in Kerrville, (DFW)Funky Finds Holiday Extravaganza in November and in December Elgin’s Luna Market &Austin’s Waldorf Winter Faire.
