South Austin Meetings
Time & Location
Every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church fellowship hall. Except December, when we’re partying in Round Rock on the 2nd Tuesday!
4622 S Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78745
Directions: We’re on the south Lamar frontage road, south of West Gate but before Brodie. It’s directly across from the 290 on-ramp and across the highway from the Tony Berger center. Be careful or you’ll miss the entrance! (The second one is OK, too, but then you’ll walk back, past the church, to the fellowship hall.) If you miss them both, just U-turn at Brodie, go back to West Gate and U-turn again, and take another pass…
We start with a show and tell segment, so bring your works that are in progress or have just been completed and let us get to know you. Many members use this as an opportunity to get feedback and solutions for technical difficulties. Then comes a short business meeting where you’ll hear about future exhibitions, events, or workshops. Then on to the evening’s program, which can be a presentation from a fiber artist, a hands-on activity, or even a party! Our program chair is always open to suggestion for future topics that might be of interest to the group.
