I try to create beautiful wearables from ordinary clothing. Using intuition for cutting and reshaping and using fibers, appliqué and embellishments for design and form. Some shirts are for very casual, happy times shirts, some are made to show your sophistication and some are worn to just make you feel good. I re-style, re-design, re-think a wearable into something more creative to wear. I crochet unusual handbags from creative art yarns. The yarns are a combination of wool, acrylic, polyester and/or rayon crocheted over a core of dyed rope or upholstery binding. This gives the bags great strength and durability. Each bag has an art quilt made specifically for it and attached to the crocheted flap. The bags have pockets inside and out and a sturdy single or double handle.
